The 2nd Visual Research for Social Change (VRSC) Conference invites graduate students, scholars, practitioners, and artists to submit proposals for presentations, performances, and works-in progress on Visual Storytelling for Social Justice and Social Change. Visual research offers a wide range of sophisticated and nuanced modes to investigate, understand, and disseminate the voices of participants, provoking and reconstructing conversations about social justice and social change. The notion of voice is central to contemporary debates around visual research concerning marginalized groups, social inequalities, and education. Images evoke stories, questions, and new perspectives. The VRSC embraces interdisciplinary approaches and welcomes proposals from a range of academic fields and

across multiple domains.
